Iraqi Blogs put things in perspective

February 21st 2007 01:20
Today I was going to write about how much of an idiot federal education minister, Julie Bishop is. She is suggesting students and parents decide which teachers in the state system are given a bonus or that exam results will dictate which ones. Why don't you privatise all education while you're at it Julie? You idiot.

I am not going to write any further on that issue however, as I came across a couple of blogs written by Iraqis, giving true insight into what is going on over there.

Let's face it, war reporting has always been hindered by propaghanda and the motives of the owners of TV networks and the same has happened with the coalition's occupation of Iraq. It is disturbing then to read the true accounts of what is happening on the streets of Iraq by the people that live there. Also, as the saying goes, a picture paints a thousand words, so images that are included in these blogs show the shite state of affairs the nation is in, in a way words cannot always convey.

Healing Iraq
As the byline says, an Iraqi dentist writes this blog, with a chilling and blunt approach. The images he uses shows the death and decay that has become a part of daily Iraqi life.

Iraqi Konfused Kid
Here you have what is a normal kind of bloke, but with some tales few of us will ever know ourselves. It is honest and to the point. He is critical, but realistic of the situation and provides are very interesting voice coming out of Iraq.

It isn't so much civil war as it is a bunch of misguided religious fanatics going out on a genocide.

Shiites are obsessed with the idea Muslims killed their prophet, Ali. Ali was a companion of prophet Muhammed however as the shiites see it Muhammed fooled god into giving him revelations rather than Ali.

I don't know the details of their claims, but it goes along the lines of Muslims killing Ali in the end.

The thing is, it is known as a fact Shiites killed Ali, not Muslims, on top of that Ali has been quoted as saying that people who obsess over him and regard him higher than Muhammed are misguided.

Bringing these facts to light in front of shiites creates a delusional psychopathic response of 'it's all a conspiracy', it's like talking to a conservative in many ways, they will refuse to budge from their views.

Just to add a bit more, shiites are sadistic, they cut themselves and beat themselves with chains, even children too. It kind of rubs badly off on Muslims when you see a scarfed woman making cuts on her child's head The religion itself has some similarities to early strands of Christianity suggesting it is no more than a twisted form of Christianity.

Historically also Muslims have never benefited from aligning with Shiites, every time a shiite has reached any form of power in a Muslim organization it has signaled the beginning of the end of that organization. Heck, why did the massacre in Baghdad happen under Genghis Khan's army? Was it that they were unstoppable? Well partly, but also because the most senior adviser to the then khalifah insisted on moving out the Army from Baghdad and somewhere else, the adviser convinced the Khalifah that was where Genghis Khan was going to attack from. It wasn't true, a complete fabrication, and yes, the senior adviser was a shiite who later joined forces with Genghis Khans henchmen.

The problem is a lot of Muslims regard shiites as their brothers, it is hardly true, as if history doesn't make it blatantly obvious in Iraq they are killing Muslims with the intent of genocide.

I know the media, particularly the US media like the idea that Shiites support the Americans because they want freedom. Of course it's bull, the US has this narrow minded idea that anyone who supports them is obviously a good guy, even when it is in nothing but talk, some US soldiers are even coming to the conclusion those who are volunteering for the Iraqi army are simply doing so for the weapons it gives them, with which they actually attack the US (some military commanders in the US military are convinced of this).

So anyway, right now in Iraq shiites are on the rampage attacking Muslims any chance they get, a while ago they were going through streets asking for people who were named 'Omer'. Why Omer? Because Omer is apparently the name of the man who killed Ali. That is also fabricated, however it shows their single minded ruthlessnes, they'll kill you for your name. Even in some parts of Iraq they don't like it when someone speaks any language but Arabic, Turkman, Kurdish and perhaps even some dialects of Arabic are frowned upon, some people have been killed for their native tongues.

Saddam might have been an evil man but he's a blessing in the face of these new so-called leaders. Damn well it would have been better for most if Saddam stayed.

So anyway, thats my two cents.

I'm sorry if that sounded narrow minded or that it looks like it is instigating hate in anyway. The thing is I don't say anything unless I very much believe it's true, you never catch me attacking most groups, except for extremist conservatives and now shiites, only because such groups are the reason for all the strife on earth. It's their intolerance that creates problems, their single minded views generated through artificial facts is a danger to humanity as a whole.

btw, Julie Bishop is an imbecile, typical bullshit conservative thinking, 'if the problem exists in a government funded area then it is purely the fault of those being funded'.

This extends to everything, from health care to friggin housing. Just blame it on the people. Such backwards thinking, god knows who agrees with that crap.
